Question #1:

Not parenting related, but I need some help on deciding which one to use?

I tried posting this in Marriage & Divorce, but someone reported it (I have no clue why) and it was deleted.

My husband is currently deployed. Our 5th wedding anniversary was a few weeks ago and (unfortunately) he missed it. I've been working on a scrapbook for a few months, we took anniversary photos before he left so I could add them to the scrapbook. I'd like to add a poem in the scrapbook, but I'm stuck on which one I should use!

Here are the poems (I didn't write them, btw)

Poem 1:

Strong, Polite, Loving.
He is my Marine, I love him with the very depth of my soul. We share everything, good times and bad times.We never run out of things to say, he makes me laugh when I am down and snuggles me close when I can't sleep. He is my Marine, my lover, my soul mate, my life long partner. I hold him close to my heart. Always there for each other, always faithful, always strong. He is my Marine. I would walk to the ends of the earth for him, he would do the same. He is My Marine and I love him more than words can explain.

Poem 2:

I sit up at night, alone in my bed
Constant images run through my head
Happy times, sad times - the memories are there
Happy tears, sad tears - the tears that I fear.
I hold his sweatshirt, so close to my heart
Breathe in; breathe out - not much, but a start.
Sleep with his picture in my bed at night
It's the next best thing I have to hold tight.
The pillows lay sideways; I swear he's there
They don't squeeze back; this isn't fair.
I toss and I turn, I sit up and lay down
I'm exhausted, I'm hurting, and I can't sleep sound.
My eyes are swollen - they burn like hell
The makeup don't work - you can still tell.
Finally asleep, still alone, but don't know it
He's in my dreams - I see him, I love it!
"He grabs my hand and turns me around,
We stop, we dance - although there's no sound.
He holds me close, and starts to sing
About love, about life, about everything.
He lifts my chin and looks into my eyes,
He tells me he loves me, it's no surprise.
He kisses my head, puts it to his heart
It's then that I know, we're not far apart."
The alarm is sounding; wipe the sleep from my eyes
It's another day gone, another sunrise.
I'll continue my journey, until the very end
And wait for my love - my very best friend.

dealing with a depressed boyfriend? plz read?

Hello

I have been with my boyfriend for 4 years and 3 months...

Recenty he has been really depressed about not being able to find a job but then again he's been depressed and stressed out since he left the ARMY 3years ago,left the army due to a head injury and had epilepsy but seems like he doesnt have it anymore! He has had jobs but they were never good enough for him. I can understand why because they were 12 hours a day and the money was bad! Anyway this year he has really been distant with me but i have been supportive and i understand we can't see each other due to money.

Anyway he was promised a job to work abroad... bit like the army... he would have to go to iraq or where ever they sent him! So yes he got the job but the guy said you got to get your kit,as in buy the kit which cost alot of money so he can go like in 2days but that stressed him out as he didnt have £800 pounds and he was upset because he would have to leave me but i said to him its OK il be ok and il wait for him as its a 9 month contract.... I guess this year we aint spent a lot of time seeing each other and he was upset about that. I was at he's house when he recieved the email about going in 2 days and he cried so much....I have never known anyone to cry about leaving me like that. He was confused about what to do but we talked about it!

Anyway in the end he couldnt get the kit in a day so that was it.....I feel bad that they didnt give him more time but they said No!

Anyway a few days later my boyfriend ignores me for a week.... I thought to myself OK,i guess he's feeeling really down so il give him space and il send him a sweet text! Anyway he decided to call and we talk friday and saturday! So he told me he will call me Saturday night so i said ok but he never called so i didnt call back because it was night time and i didnt want to bother him as he said he would call!So sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday pass and i hear nothing from him but i did call sunday, monday and tuesday but he didnt answer so i left it at that! Thursday comes and he texts me at night saying I LOVE HOW YOU NEVER CALLED ME SATURDAY NIGHT,I KNOW YOUR DOING SOMETHING BEHIND MY BACK... ENJOY YOURSELF AND THANKS FOR HURTING ME SO MUCH! i replied and said i dont undertand what he is talking about because i have not done anything wrong. I am really confused :(

Well he didnt bother to answer he's phone at all....Friday,saturday,sunday pass and still he made no contact. i have texted him to ask whats going on and why he accused me of doing things when i am totally innocent. He did reply to my text on saturday night but he said EVERYONE HAS LET ME DOWN AND NO WONDER I AM LIKE THIS BECAUSE OF YOU....I tried to call but he didnt answer. I am so confused because its been two weeks and he's been ignoring me. i didnt do anything wrong and i keep telling him this in the text but he's totally avoiding me!

Its monday now 8th march....No call from him or any texts! I know he,s a stressed out person and avoids people but this is way too long to ignore someone you love?! I have not bothered to call or text today because it wont do anything....I am not doing anything wrong or do i go clubbing, neither does he!i am not cheating or flirting! I have always tried to be there for him but he says i am not there for him but i try my best. I am romantic, i send sweet texts to him and even made a photo scrapbook of us on our holidays together and gave it to him for valentines day this year....He loved it so much but why would he think i am up to something?! He buys me things,takes me on holidays so he does things for me aswell and can be sweet aswell and romantic! I guess because he has no job now,he is depressed and nothing seems good in he's life now! I know not having a job makes men go into depression and especially if you been let down by companies then that makes you feel worthless!

I am studing LAW and need to consentrate on that but find it hard as my boyfriend is ignoring me! to be honest i dont even know if he wants me anymore....What do i do about all this? He has always said he loves me and wants to settle down with me! I am 23 on the 15th march :( so thats next monday,hopefully he wont ignore me on my birthday! He is 25 anyway!

Beginner scrapbooking. How do I scrapbook frugally and quickly?

I think it is an excellent idea to scrapbook the Christmas cards I received along with the letters, envelopes and photos. I am finding it be expensive with all the little stick ons, etc. I thought I was a patient person too, but I would like to get the scrapbooking done more quickly than spend hours on one page.

I had planned to scrapbook my first cruise too, but I have like 400 photos. It seems daunting.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What to use to cut 6x6 chipboard?

I just started making mini albums but have been scrapbooking for awhile. My local scrapbook store sells chipboard in 12x12 but would like to know if there is a certain die that will cut 6x6. I would like to refrain from purchasing already cut 6x6 chipboard online since i already have lots of 12x12. Is there a sizzix die that will cut a 6x6 square for my mini albums?

what can i SEND to my bff for her birthday?

she is turning 16. she lives across the country from me unfortunately :( we are still very close though and we always will be! we've been bff for 12 1/2 years and we're like sisters & our families are very close too. i know i'm gonna make her a really big card and also get a personalized photo frame. what else can i make/get her? please don't say a scrapbook (done it many times) or cd (done it).
i was thinking about getting her a certificate for a massage or something, but im not sure which salons in her area are good.

How to press a flower in a scrapbook?

I'm making a scrapbook for my boyfriend for our anniversary and the Valentine flowers he gave me are still up and alive. Although they dont look as bright and perky as they did 2 weeks ago. Anyways I just want to know how to put them in a scrapbook with out them breaking apart or tearing into pieces. Thanks for the help.

What should I do/ get my boyfriend for our 2 year anniversary?

We've already done almost everything imaginable. I made him a scrapbook, he's made me a picture frame, I've put all our pictures over the past two years in a digital picture frame, he's taken me on a helicopter ride, and swimming with dolphins I've written him a letter with all the reasons i love him and taken him to his favorite restaurants. He likes his car, and I like Photography. I'm all out of ideas and I have no idea what he's doing either. Any Ideas? Nothing too expensive. Preferably under $100. oh, and I'm 17, he's 19.

What's wrong with me....attached to anything I write/touch?

Basically, if I write anything anywhere and give it to someone... like a card, I feel really anxious... like a part of me is going... I recently made a model at school and I just had this anxious feeling when I left it at school... like I touched it and made it and it's being left there...it just makes me worried. My friend wants me to do a page for her in her scrapbook for her bday but I don't know.. it makes me feel uncomfortable.

Also, I get annoyed so easily... say my sister is singing, I feel like throwing something at her as my head just throbs.

I have low self esteem.

And...my concentration levels have decreased and with my GCSEs coming up, I really need to be able to concentrate... but since December, things have never been the same.

I got depressed but things have gone better.... but why do I have these feelings?

So hey. My friends and I have a "book" and we do a page every night, we sharee it between us...we cut pictures from magazines..put pictures in. write, draw, whateever. 50th Birthday Present for Mom. EMERGENCY!?

I just went out and bought one hundred dollars worth of amazing scrap booking materials to make my mother a scrapbook for her 50th birthday in three days only to find out today that my Aunt made her a scrapbook. I can't give her the same gift, what am I going to do!? I have eighty dollars left in my bank account and i can't use all of that toward a new present Because thats all I have to get me through two weeks until next pay. WHAT am I going to do please help me, what is a good idea for a homemade gift or something.. it's gotta be from the heart! help please, and dont tell me to just make a scrapbook anyway because I AM NOT doing that so I dont need to see you guys telling me that. new ideas PLEase please

Okay so I haven't seen my mom since Christmas and she's coming here in Easter for 2 weeks. So I really want to make everything really special for her because me and my sister have really missed her etc. We've already done a scrapbook/photoalbum thingy but like what other stuff should we do? I'm 13 and my sister is 7 :)

Good morning!

I'm not Canadian, but I'm Brazilian. I visited Yahoo Answers Canada and on the questions and the answers I saw some Canadians and Americans who hated, spoke badly of Canada and criticized a lot the Olympic Games.Why did they hate, speak badly and criticize? What are these problems?

As for Brazil, if you ask me if Brazilian people are patriot. No, unfortunately, because I visited the Yahoo Answers Brazil, Orkut communities, forums, comments book or forum , type scrapbook or guestbook, of each news, many and many Brazilians didn't stop speaking badly of Brazilian, of Brazilians and of Brazilian regions (for example, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul and Northern Brazil), promoting discriminations and prejudices. I got very shocked with this reality. I also saw them speaking, without stopping, swearwords, I mean, dirty words against Brazil, Brazilians, people of each region and until people of each religion. Then, they're very unpatriot.

Unfortunately, when I visited Orkut coommunities, I got very shocked to see that there's some Brazilian xenophobical communities, as Brazilians also hate and speak badly of Americans, Arabs, Argentinians, Bolivians, British, Canadians, Chinese, French, Germans, Greek, Italians, Mexicans, Paraguayans, Portuguese, Russians, Spaniard, etc.

During the Germany 2006 World Cup, at Orkut communities of each country, Brazilian fanatic and impolite "cheerleaders" attacked with violence and spoke swearword against Australians, Croatians and French.
A long time I've denonced the xenophobical communities against French, Italians and Mexicans at orkut and they've been removed.

What is the best laptop that is less than $1000?

Im so confused on which laptop to purchase? Is Toshiba and HP laptops good? I want to surf internet, edit and scrapbook pictures, listen to music, and online school with my laptop. Im not a gamer.
I have heard dell computers arent that good. My hubby has one and the sound sucks and does not go very high. I want to know what is the best inexpensive laptop.
