Baby development scrapbook?

Im having my first baby, and were so excited! Theres so many changes and so much happening with the baby each week. I get emails for a parenting website about what the baby is doing week by week and whats developing. Well me and my husband thought about making a scrapbook that had his changes week by week and have pictures and also ultra sound pictures when i have them. Does anyone think this is to much or ever done this before?? Thanks so much! God bless!

how do you preserve a flower that isn't flat? do you need a specific scrapbook for this kind of thing?

i got some flowers from my grandmas funeral and i want to preserve them and i know you put them between wax paper and a phone book or dictionary.....but how do you do this for a flower that isn't flat?
i want to preserve these flowers this weekend before they die...

Is this a good idea for my boyfriend's 18th birthday? or is it more of an anniversary thing?

After we'd been dating for about a month, he picked me up to go to his house, and on his car it said "Ari, will you go to prom with me?" and he gave me flowers, then we went to his house and I met his parents, and then we watched Where the wild things are and it was extremely boring ( in our opinions). Then he said he had never read the book and I was just in disbelief because that was like my favorite book when I was little. So the next day I was in the book store and I saw the book and it made me think of him and I just got all smiley, so I got it for him. Then I chickened out and didn't give it to him (i was still kind of shy with him at the time). So I was thinking I could kind of write memories in the book and put pictures and stuff in it (kinda like a scrapbook), with that little story in the front. I'm just wondering if that's appropriate for his birthday though...

When I was a child, the biggest thing was running out of the house on a Sat. morning after the Sat. morning cartoons, and playing outside with my friends.

We played dodgeball, baseball, hide and go seek, cops and robbers, etc. For girls there was jump rope, hopscotch. We played checkers, jacks, monopoly..

We also had hobbies - model kits, paper dolls, and we actually had to use our imaginations.

I remember having scrapbooks, where the only things in them were cut out of the Sunday ads in the paper. I used to put families together that way, cutting pictures out and writing out stories about them.

My sister and I used to actually write our own books, and do the illustrations with crayons.

Do you think the kids today are missing something we had?

A movie is no big deal anymore, they don't have to go to the library, cause they have the computer, video games, etc.

Do you feel like it's all too much sometimes?

iGoogle theme: Autumn or Fall Scape?

I am looking for an iGoogle theme that I have used (more than once) before. I believe it was called "Fall Scape" or "Autumn Scape". It is very similar to the themes "Winter Scape" and "Spring Scape", which I have also used before. (I change my theme with the seasons.) However, I can't seem to find it.

Here are the details:
It had a small family of raccoons--their activities would change with the time of day.
It was cartoon-esque, but more like a scrapbook--not like a television show, and certainly not anime.

I have used this theme more than once before. Please help me find it!

My best friend's birthday is next month, he turns 22 and I ran out of ideas on what to get him.

I want to give him something special and creative. I already consumed some creative ideas like a scrapbook and getting him his favorite books last year.

He is a writer and he's not into too much stuff which is why I'm finding it hard.

I thought about getting him a rare edition of his favorite childhood book, but I can't find it here (Egypt) and shipping rates are crazy expensive!

I don't think I would go for the usual gifts though because I don't normally get him birthday presents but it's a special occasion and all since he's graduating as well so I want it to be something he'll remember.

Frustrated!!! Blurry pics w/AF-S Nikkor 55-200 lens?

I got this Nikon D60 over a year ago. The main reason for "wanting" a better camera is to be able to take photos from a distance using the zoom lens. Did I purchase a not so good camera for what I want to use it for? I've mounted this 55-200mm lens a few times and played w/the settings everytime I got blurry outcome...and I still get the same result just this morning. I just don't have the time to spent trying on this anymore. Can anybody out theer lend me a hand? School will start for us Aug. 30, pretty soon it will be Advent Program and I still won't be able to take that photo I am longing to add on my daughter's scrapbook (:-(. Thank you.

My best friend and I have been best friends for 9 years now. We both just turned 14 this past summer.
I cant think of anything to get her this year. We have done the scrapbooks and stuff like that.
We normally buy each other really expensive things so i already know that i am gonna get her the amika flat iron for like $250 but i need to get her more than just one thing.

Sorry, didn't phrase the last q very well :-) Um...i'm making a scrapbook for my friend who's really depressed atm. Does anyone have any ideas what I could put into it? So far I have stories from givesmehope.com, a letter from me and 3 more of her friends. 10 reasons I love her and stories of inspirational people. As well as a poem called desiderata which is quite fitting. I'm trying to show her how loved she is and that the world isn't as evil as it seems. Thanks guys xxx
