Imaginative cropping can add interest and remove distracting background objects. It could be as simple as cutting the corners or edges of the photograph into a pretty frame or slicing and reconstructing the entire picture.

You can try anything for instance: feathers, coins, fabric, cones, ornaments, leaves, candy or even different types of paper. You will be surprised with the results, as it is not like taking a photo. You will find flat objects are in sharper focus with every edge in super-crisp detail. Thicker objects will have a more distorted or out of focus look. You can have loads of fun experimenting with this concept.
