When I began my first scrapbook I spent nearly two hundred dollars on everything from how to books to layouts and magazines. Five years later I haven’t used half of what I bought, despite having several scrapbooks. My mistakes were two-fold. First I had no organization, and second I had no planning. While not as fun as buying all the stickers and layouts, planning your first scrapbook album will save money and save time.

I also consider that you can spend many hours of pleasure and also obtain much fulfillment from producing your own unusual, yet individual, crafts. With this in mind I decided to experiment to make an album, which in essence, was not that hard to do.

If you like this post, please buy me a cuppa for $2 8-)I guess you could say that I’m fairly new to the digital side of scrapbooking. While I’ve been doing traditional scrapbooking for many, many years, I have only just recently delved into the digital realm and begun creating my own unique layouts using computers to aid in my designs. I have found that while this style of scrapping doesn’t have the same tactile familiarity as traditional scrapping, the final product is somewhat easier to make clean and neat.
